May Li’s Favorites
May Li is the Founder & Managing Director @ J20 Ventures, an early stage venture firm based in New York City that invests at the center of technology and e-commerce.
Ting - The creator economy has exploded over the last decade and alongside it, tools for creators to leverage their platform have become staples in everyday life. Ting is empowering creators to track performance alongside the market in the same way that companies track software and product adoption. With a team composed of early Nest, early Google, and grammy-winners, and a strong group of existing artists on the platform, this is a great opportunity in a massive industry.
MartialMe - Over the last year and a half, fitness programs and classes were forced online and consumers forced to adopt remote learning. MartialMe is building an AI-driven platform for students to learn with direct feedback loops based on motion detection, and also allowing instructors to track, monitor, and provide students feedback remotely. Starting with martial arts, the team has a clear user acquisition focus, while also building software that can be scaled across multiple movement-driven fitness industries.
La Boutique - Everyone wants to support their local businesses, but the ease of online retailers has destroyed sales for small, community-driven shops. Stephane Kattie is creating an online marketplace in La Boutique for consumers to order same-day delivery from their favorite local stores. With same-day delivery networks in place in NorAm & Europe, if La Boutique is able to solve the chicken-egg problem faced by all marketplaces, they unlock a huge economy of local businesses and consumers interacting digitally.

OnePager Toolkit
Finding the right tools at the right time is a massive problem for startups. As we reduce the barriers of sharing information, we are building an MVP that leverages OnePager data to proactively recommended tools to our users. All software discovery today relies on "pulling" in solutions when absolutely necessary, and we're excited to offer the first solution to "push" software to founders before it's too late. We would love your feedback on the idea!
Thank you!
